U.S. Captain Paul Azinger strongly encourages all USA golf fans to show their patriotism and wear red for Sunday's Ryder Cup matches at Valhalla Golf Club as a sign of support for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
We are on the national scene this weekend and the more red the viewers see on Sunday across the Bluegrass State the better. The US currently leads 7-5 after the first set of matches today. No lead will be comfortable going into Sunday, so if you can find a ticket, get out there and support your country and Louisville as we are again in the national spotlight. That ESPN Titletown USA contest might have been a little different if the voters would have seen and felt the electricity of the crowd at Valhalla all week. This is the kind of week that makes you proud to be from the 'ville. Maybe one day our boy Derek Fauthauer will get to play and represent the Cards. As wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan would say, "OOOOOOOO..USA! USA! USA!...."
