Calm Before the Storm Reading

Luckily for you, you found this site which actually has more information on tonight's colossal match up than most national outlets. Just in case you missed any...here you go.

1. Rick Bozich of The Courier-Journal gives his thoughts about tonight's game in his blog...check it out daily! He's right...UL is a 2.5 or 3 point favorite which means Vegas can't decide who will win but gives the Cards the edge because of the home court.

2. UK, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse...Eric Crawford agrees that this is just another big game for the Cards.

3. Storrs, Connecticut doesn't have a daily paper (I don't think, I've been scouring). So, you're left with a student newspaper. It's the Daily Campus.

4. And if this doesn't make you happy, then nothing will. Here's a blog entry on Saturday afternoon from Jeff Goodman of FoxSports.com.

KENTUCKY
STILL HAS WORK TO DO

Don’t pencil Kentucky in as an NCAA tournament team just yet.

In fact, the Wildcats still haven’t beaten a lock NCAA tournament team this season.

Billy Gillispie’s team, which lost at home to South Carolina on a last-second shot by Devan Downey, is now 16-6 overall and 5-2 in a mediocre SEC.

The Wildcats got into the Top 25 this past week and responded with a loss at Ole Miss and then a setback at Rupp to South Carolina.

The two resume wins for Kentucky are a neutral site victory against West Virginia – which was a quality win – and also a road victory at a Tennessee team that is 12-7 and has lost five of its last nine entering tonight’s home contest against Florida.
