In ESPN's Todd McShay's latest 2009 NFL Mock Draft, former Louisville center and L Yes! favorite Eric Wood is projected as the No. 6 pick in the second round. Wood, a Cincinnati native, would be swooped up by the Bungles -er, Bengals if McShay's projection is on the money.
I hope it's not.
Wood is McShay's No. 2 center in this year's crop.
McShay has Hunter Cantwell going in the sixth round to the the Denver Broncos and OT George Bussey late in the seventh, also to Denver.
Former Georgia QB Matthew Stafford is the projected overall No. 1 pick to the Lions.
