Super Bowl Lacks Local Flavor

While Indianapolis is just 2 hours north of Louisville, there are few players representing the local schools in this years Super Bowl.

In fact there is zero former Cards in this game. It breaks a two-year streak for the Cards, who has had a player on one of the two rosters 6 out of the last 9 Super Bowls.

Former Kentucky standout tight end Jacob Tamme is on the Colts, while the Saints have two former Hoosiers in Tracy Porter and Courtney Roby.
