LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville is asking fans to "Pack the Park" on Sunday, September 28, when the field hockey, and men's and women's soccer teams play home games at Cardinal Park. Admission to all events is free, and will begin at noon featuring inflatables, face painting, free Mexican food from local restaurants and a meet and greet with UofL student athletes.
The nationally ranked men's soccer team will be hosting Notre Dame at 1:00 p.m. at the Cardinal Park Soccer Stadium, while the nationally ranked field hockey team opens the home portion of the BIG EAST schedule against UConn, also at 1:00 p.m. in Trager Stadium. The women's soccer team will host Depaul following the conclusion of the men's game. In addition the softball team will be hosting a fall tournament at Ulmer Stadium with games at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. ET.
Astro Events of Louisville, LLC will have inflatables set up at the soccer complex, Premier Face Painting will be at the entrance of field hockey from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 and Los Aztecas, Sol Aztecas, Ernestos, El Caporal and El Nopal will be serving free Mexican food to guests.
A number of Cardinal student athletes representing among others, the softball, men's tennis and baseball teams will be in attendance.
