At least according to the selection committee, which gave the Cards the overall No. 1 seed yesterday. The coaches seem to think so too, ranking Louisville No. 1 in their latest poll. It's the first time that Louisville's been ranked No. 1 during the season.
Louisville's No. 1 draw in the Midwest puts them in Dayton. They'll play the Morehead State/Alabama State winner this Friday. Those teams tip off Tuesday night at 7:30.
Let the Madness continue.
UPDATE (2:34 pm): Louisville also claimed the No. 1 spot in the AP poll, another first for the storied program. It's called "peaking at the right time," folks.
