Shall we?
What do Duke, Troy, Tulsa, Southern Miss, IU, Central Florida, Kent State, Houston, UAB, Memphis, and Akron all have in common?
You guessed it.
They all have better 2009 football recruiting classes than your Cards. At least according to Rivals, which has U of L tied with Louisiana Tech as the 76th best recruiting class. Just above Rice and Florida International. And at the bottom of the Big East - save Syracuse, who landed only 14 players.
What's that you say? Don't read in to it so much? Ben Roethlisberger and Kurt Warner weren't five-star recruits coming out of high school?
Perhaps you're right. But the perennial leaders in recruiting just so happen to be the perennial BCS contenders - USC, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, etc.
We here at the L Yes! Report are disappointed, but we know that we can all alleviate this problem by going to vote for T-Will for 2009 Senior CLASS Award. Go now!
