What began as mere speculation is now probably a foregone conclusion.
It appears that Jeff Brohm will be out of work at the University of Louisville.
Multiple sources are reporting that he was not in attendance at the annual signing day party with the rest of the coaching staff. The L Yes! Report has confirmed that Brohm was certainly in town, so his absence speaks volumes as to what the “big announcement” will be next week concerning the coaching staff.
Jeff Brohm was crowned 1988 Kentucky Mr. Football before going on to team up with his brother Greg at U of L. Jeff is still 7th in all-time passing yards, 5th in TD passes, 8th in completions, and 6th in total offense and completion percentage in Louisville’s record books.
Jeff’s been on the coaching staff since 2003, tutoring All-Conference C-USA and C-USA Offensive Player of the Year QB Stefan Lefors.
His dad, Oscar, played QB for the Cards during the 1968-69 seasons, and you may have heard of his little brother Brian, who won the Big East Offensive Player of the Year – among other distinctions – under Jeff’s tutelage.
‘Tis a sad day for University of Louisville football when it’s stripped of a member of what’s come to be known as its “First Family.”
Now go vote for T-Will.
