Former Louisville Assistant Reggie Theus was fired by the Sacramento Kings today, multiple sources are reporting. Theus was named the head coach during the summer of 2007 after serving in the same capacity at New Mexico State for a season.
Francisco Garcia is averaging 10.9 points per game for the Kings, who are at the bottom of their division at 6-18.
Theus becomes the 6th NBA head coach to be fired already this season.
